Let's take a look inside one of my maxbounty accounts. This was from when i uploaded a bunch of videos to youtube with my affiliate link in the description box. I didn't use the geo script at that time.
Can you see how many clicks that just got redirected to surveyscout (this is where MB send all their non-us traffic)? That's right. 785. And can you see how much that made me? That's right. Nothing. So, instead of sending all non-us clicks to surveyscout, I could have sent them to offers for their own countries, which i also did from that point.
A common myth is that non-US traffic sucks. This however, is pure BS. Traffic from several other countries can be just as profitable, if not MORE profitable, than US traffic. Especially from other western countries like Australia, Canada, UK and the rest of western Europe. If you can't find an offer for a specific country, it's still better to send your international traffic to a clickbank site or a page with adsense, than to the networks international offer.

Every now and then people will contact me and ask if i can take a look at their landing page. My first reaction is usually: "Too much fluff! Too much distraction!". No wonder people are struggeling with affiliate marketing. It's like they think putting tons of flashing gif pics and 10 different offers on their landing page will somehow make them more money. So, how should an affiliate landing page look like? Landing pages need to be clean and right to the point and not be full of useless sh*t! (pardon my french). There are 4 general rules you need to follow in order to have a successful landing page, and they are:
1: Simple layout. A headline, image, short list of benefits and a call to action, is all you need. An article below this can also be added.
2: Focus on one product or service ONLY! Exceptions do exist, of course, but it's a general rule.
3: Keep the call to action ABOVE the fold! Having it below the fold will dramatically decrease your CTR!
4: Make the call to action stick out from the rest of the site.
